When you die you get to select one item of clothing you still owned and you get to relive every moment wearing that item. What do you pick and why?

When I was about 8 years old or so my father was in pretty rough shape. He was approaching 60, and essentially was a laborer and had been his whole life. Anyway, he gave this really fine, thin gold silken ribbon. I mean the thing is fine, and totally feels both strong and lacelike at once. It's hard to describe, and I can't snap a pic just now as I've given it to my own son! (more on this later)

We think it was originally a necklace of some kind, really, but was also a bit too long for a man to pull it off as such, so he didn't use it as a necklace. It had to be looped in a particular way the way he wore it to stay on straight and look right, because it was so thin. About three loops around before you cinched it with a discreet bow. My dad had to show me how to tie and wear it properly, otherwise it would slip off very easily.

His own granddad bought it at a bazaar (?) in Egypt back when it was still a monarchy for a steal, and it's been a tradition that each man in the line wears the gold. That's what we call it, wearing the gold. Anyway, my dad wanted me to have it then because he felt like he didn't have much time yet (in terms of years, not months or anything).

Anyway, long story short I pick this item of clothing, because I've worn it practically all my life (until I gave it to my son about 3 years ago). Before then, every morning I would get up, take the gold out of the box in my bureau and stand in front of the mirror to put it on. Three lose loops around the scrotum and a tasteful bow to finish it off, cinched behind the sack.

We had some lively times, that gold and I, so it would be awesome to be able to relive every moment I wore it!
