RIP karma, but I feel like I gotta say something about this.

I can understand this argument, but it’s a narrow-minded approach. If we look at the universe like someone making a simulation of a universe, it’s a bit easier to understand.

We don’t know why God made the universe, but if we compare it to the simulation metaphor, it’s unlikely that one would make a simulation for the sole purpose making the people in his simulation happy. I don’t think God made the universe for the sole purpose of making us happy, that just doesn’t make any sense.

As Christians we believe there’s a greater purpose for everything, including the bad.
