Just because they think they are, doesn't mean they are. Some real statistics quantifying laziness would help, not just "hurr durr are u lazy? lol" My guess is that older generations are telling them this, so of course they will parrot it just to sound superior and more "aware" than their peers.

Either way, I'm not very impressed with "The Christian Science Monitor" being in charge of selectively bringing data together (hint: they chose the categories that would best make their point, while ignoring contradictory evidence).
