When I was in high school I loved metal and hardcore music, but now that I'm older it seems edgy and angsty to the point of being cheesy. Those of you that like it, what is the appeal for you?

The conversation began when you took offense to me saying to someone else that I figured he didn't like jazz. Your response was something unnecessarily snarky like "you assume metalheads can't like jazz that's stupid,"and my response to your incorrect assumption was "Not very MANY people listen jazz these days compared to other genres, so if you pointed out any random person I would assume they don't like jazz because not very MANY people do."

It's painfully obvious what my point was from the very beginning. I have absolutely not been changing my position. My position has 100% been from my very first response to you that the NUMBER, I repeat, the NUMBER of people listening to jazz is low compared to the number of people listening to other genres, including metal. So, if this is the very first statement I made and it's still what I'm arguing right now, please explain how I've switched my position part way through the discussion? I haven't. You idiot.

This whole time over and over I've been talking about the NUMBER of listeners. Go read my analogy again, that was all about the number of listeners. The stuff about YouTube views was about the number of listeners. I have not been changing positions. I can't believe you'd sit here and lie when we can easily go back and read everything that's been written between us.

Please explain to me where I've changed my core argument throughout this discussion? This entire time I've been arguing about the number of jazz listeners vs other genres, specifically metal in this case. Dumbass.
