When/how have you experienced bullying within the workplace?

My original home is in another country. A strange thing I've noticed by working in the UK is that places with more non-English people tend to be quite more friendly. Everyone works in teams and gets on with each other. The less non-English people, the more hate towards us. So basically it's like bullying is more of a us vs. them thing.

I encountered some bullying in my current workplace, been working for about 2.5 years already. All the English bullies (all men) are above 50, talking behind your back, sometimes even in your face that you should get your stuff and go, but simultaneously telling you you're a good lad/lass and working hard if you confront them. They mask it as jokes, of course, and with Brexit they feel more and more free to do so. That's a bit funny cause gossiping is something to expect from women in my country. On the other hand, kids are super racist as well, so it seems that only millennials are comfortable with different people.
