Gentlemen, I did not intend to instigate an argument. I'm just pretty sick and tired of the "we are a nation of immigrants" bullshit line.

According to some experts we all came out of Africa X gazillion years ago.

Ya, so? I also used to go to 3rd grade.....I don't do that anymore....I got past it.

There is no need to draw any lines, give anything "back", make reparations....etc.

Did we learn nothing from the failed Treaty of Versailles?!? The heavy reparation burden placed on Germany at the end of WWI is what caused (or certainly heavily contributed to) WWII.

We are Americans, we have American values, we want to make America great again.....and dumping boat load after boat load of charity cases on a system that is already failing so many Americans is so clearly counterproductive that I can't even believe there's an argument about it.

Our governments job is to take care of our Vets, mentally ill, sick, injured, abused and neglected CITIZENS. It is not, nor has it ever been the job of the government of the USA to be the nanny of the world.
