When I was a kid people told me I was too young to have anxeity now that I'm grown people tell me I need to stop acting like a child and get over anxeity.

Sorry to say this but don't believe what the previous poster said. It will not go away on its own and no matter how much others sympathize with your position it will not make it any easier.

You have to take action: If you are stuck in your house go outside for 5 minutes, set a timer and do it everyday for 30 days. If you are fine going outside but feel uncomfortable around others then go where other people are for 5 to 10 minutes everyday for 30 days. If you are fine being around others, start making eye contact and hold it for longer than you think you can. If you can do that, start saying hello to strangers as they pass by you on the street. You might be reading this and thinking I can do all of those things without any anxiety it is only when I do "X" that I can't seem to keep it together. In that case, find the things that lead up to "X" and master those with 30 day challenges or do "X" for the smallest amount of time that you would be willing to do it everyday for 30 days. Keep ramping up the challenges but give yourself enough time, hence the 30 days, to really feel like you have it. Notes: Keep notes on your progress. Your brain will try and lie to you and tell you "you haven't made any progress" or "that what you did wasn't that difficult to begin with".

Don't skip ahead. If you feel uncomfortable in a situation however silly it seems to you continue to repeat it until you have no feelings towards it.

When you pick a challenge start with either a time frame or task or both that when you say it to yourself your mind will instantly say "Come on, I can do that!" You need to do everything you can to keep your brain on your side and doing something every day for 30 days is a challenge in and of itself.
