When was the last time you were insulted or offended by something someone said to your face?

Two days ago my husband told me he was a better driver since he beat me to our doctors appointment

I was staying in one lane the whole way there being defensive, he crossed 4 lanes to get in the fast one, then crossed back closer to the exit.

I was very offended, but not like seriously like I think you are going for.

For that I'd say a few days ago when I met with a family who's son was killed trying to buy drugs, and the mother told me I was too young to be a funeral director. And left to come back the next day to work with the 76 year old dude that sometimes helps us out when we are super busy. She was also implying that her son was better than me bc he went to all private schools and had his MBA from a private college.

But public school/community college me ain't a drug addict that abandoned my small children, so really, keep bragging lady. Tell me more about how much better he was.

Obviously I kept that to myself. She doesn't realize he died trying to buy drugs. (but knew he was on them)
