when was the last time you were called creepy? how did it feel?

Weird story. Was in Vegas for a tech conference with a colleague. I’m a fairly good looking married dude and my friend is a single guy that I wouldn’t assume has issues getting ladies, average joes. We were approached by an attractive woman, very confident, up front about taking her out for dinner. I declined and stated that my friend was single and in town for a few days. He got real weirded out and the conversation ended abruptly. He said something to the degree of not being a creep and it sorta seemed like he implied I was a creep for thinking it was ok to take an assumed (not confirmed) prostitute to dinner. To this day the whole thing confuses me. I treat people like humans and some how I’m on the moral low ground. Still confuses to this day.
