when you mention you've read the books and they ask which is better

Yeah people complain about some storylines such as the wight hunt, which I understand it’s a weaker episode from a writing perspective, but it’s still one of my favorites just because of how fun of an episode Beyond the Wall really is. Even while the weakest storylines are being shown there are still a lot of great ones going on simultaneously. Also one of my favorite characters in the show is Beric Dondarrion and I’m glad he’s made it to the end game while I’m also interested to see what happens with Stoneheart in the books. To me the books and the show are two different canons and I’m looking forward to season 8 just as much as TWOW.
