When a mod uses a stickied post in a locked thread to low-key advocate for violence.

Police violence in America is a problem. I do not dispute this.

I do not take particular issue with the first three lines of the post in question. I do not necessarily agree with what is being said in those sentences, but the mod has every right to express those opinions, and to even lock a thread "to keep any police officers from commenting." You can dislike that, it is somewhat inflammatory, but it does not cross any hard lines.

However, the final sentence in this post is phrased in a way to explicitly excuse this mod (and necessarily all the mods of the sub in question) from the authority of enforcing the rule against advocating for violence. This is to implicitly say that the mod in question would otherwise advocate or allow others to advocate for violence against police if not for the admins.

The mod is using a disingenuous plea in order to express his positive stance on the use of violence. This is in effect advocating for violence.
