When my moronic boss has the gall to say I’ve “Learned so much” from him while he’s attempting to fire me

Long story short, he hired me for a job I’ve done spectacularly, kept asking me to do things that are far outside my job description (operations management for a web agency), has me working well under standard salary because I was promised quarterly profit sharing, no benefits, a toxic environment. The past few months, he keeps bringing up how much I cost him (More than double my actual salary), and how I don’t make him money, you know, because I’m in a support role.

I’ve gone above and beyond, done everything in my power to scrape something together here out of a sense of pride, and the last few months have been a nightmare. Today, he started in on it again, and guys, I got SO PISSED. He’s just spouting all this garbage, dancing around what he wants to say. I start yelling, calling him out on what a bad manager he is, he asks to go outside. Continues to avoid saying anything concrete when I asked “What do you want the outcome of this conversation to be?” Tells me how “awkward” this is for him, etc but he can’t afford to pay me for “no results”. I have set a system up that a paralyzed chihuahua could use, automated everything possible, made countless internal assets, and a slew of other shit. But because it’s not a production role it’s not making him money.

This is already too long, but I’m really proud of how I handled it. No angry crying, and got him to agree to 4 weeks transition while I find something else.
