When you realize Lando being in Rebels makes him a prequel character

A lot of people tend to look at TCW through rose-tinted glasses with the nostalgia setting turned up to maximum, comparing it at its best to Rebels at its worst. I've always said (and maybe this is unpopular) that TCW's writing was absolutely incredible at its best (Umbara, Ahsoka's final arc, Fives and Order 66) but worse-than-the-worst-of-the-prequels at its worst (anything with Jar Jar, the Mandalorian tea arc). I feel like Rebels tends to be more consistently average: very few great episodes, very few terrible episodes, mostly just okay episodes (except Twilight of the Apprentice, which was one of the greatest single hours of television I have ever watched in my life). Honestly when TCW was cancelled Rebels basically became a way for Dave Filoni and the showrunners to wrap up dangling plot points that were never resolved (Maul, Ahsoka, Mandalore) so I think many TCW fans are being a little unfair to it. Not that I think Rebels is perfect - any time one of the Ghost crew is shoehorned in where they really shouldn't be I want to scream (perfect example, Ezra in the final Maul episode) but both series have their pros and cons and I think people on the internet are being far from objective when they compare the two.
