A lot of people have responded already, but I’m going to give my opinion as well. Since you have just started, I think it is wise to scout your gems soon enough to build some almost full SR+ teams before focusing on card skills and teambuilding. That way, you’re also going to be able to tier faster and just play the game with more ease.

If you like Eli or Rin, their birthdays are right around the corner and step-up boxes are more convenient (as the first only takes 30 gems for the equivalent of a 50 gem scout). My suggestion is to try and do as many first step-ups as possible. If not, look into the upcoming sets on WW and see which part you’d like better to scout on. And if you don’t like either of those that are to come soon, you can always wait for limited boxes during the next event too in hopes you’ll find something more to your taste ♥.

Don’t stress out too much for now though, your account is still fresh and there’s plenty more gems to farm before coming to a point where you have to really focus on one particular thing.
