When Shaq Tried To Bully A Rookie Yao Ming and Instantly Regretted It

I feel like it has, a little bit. Like the popularity of crazy K-pop/drama fans has increased the attractive towards Asians in general, which is just one factor of it all. It certainly did help push away the Asian stereotype of being nerdy losers to the complete opposite, kind of. Also, the rise of PC culture in general. Change is slowly but surely happening for equality in all aspects. Every generation it gets better. But as long as ignorance exists, there will be racism.

But shit, I always say.. stereotypes are earned. I don't even disagree with a lot of Asian stereotypes, as an Asian myself. Shit, sometimes it's funny as hell. But if it really bugs you, the best you can do is to be the one who proves them wrong. If people pick you last because you're Asian, show them why you don't deserve to be last. I love doing that shit.. and you can change the perception about whoever you're around. The important thing is, if you want to see change, you can't fight hatred with hate. That gets us nowhere, and this applies to all races. It is what it is, and the best you can do is be the change you want to see.

So next time someone asks you for help on their math, show them you don't know what fractions are.
