While he’s an elite playmaking defensive wing, as you said, I always felt like this graphic skewed this in Andre’s favor. I see people misinterpret this as “held them to 1-41 FGA” and think he absolutely locked them down to a single field goal.

What this graphic actually means is that there were 41 possessions where Iguodala guarded CP3 or Harden. Anyone that watched those games knows that they forced switches on everything before isoing.

How many times do you think CP3 or Harden iso’d against an elite defensive player like Iguodala? Not that many because I’m sure we all saw them constantly try to switch and iso on Steph or whatever big man the Dubs had on the floor. The 41 possessions number is inflated because it counts even a single Harden/CP3 vs. Iguodala matchup as a “possession”, even if the rockets likely (90% of the time) would switch or pass the ball to a better iso matchup. It’s not a secret that Iguodala is a good defensive player and not a favorable matchup in iso.
