True, i don't think there is one, by all means, explain, i'm all ears! How do you differentiate thousands of random twitter accounts venting their outrage under different hashtags and how this is not done by the same overall crowd of Twitter activists.

Has the Leadership of one publicly distanced itself from the other? Do they not like each other or something?

The way i think this worked out was that it started with Me Too, then people get "cancelled" because they don't drag people into court rooms because of Twitter, they have no proof beyond a lot of "he said, she said", just the "court of public opinion" ( = rabble rabble outrage mob ), and because that happens so often and with increasingly absurd and benign stuff that it just started getting called Cancel Culture instead.

If i got that all wrong then i've written a lot of bullshit (big surprise there, i know) but you would be the first to ever bother to correct me on it. I guess i should thank you.
