When the topic of rape, harassment and abuse inevitably shifts to conversations about false accusations and how it ruins men's lives.

For the first time yesterday I read a good chunk of Donald Trump's sexual abuse allegations on the wiki. Holy Christ. After awhile I just had to stop. I knew of them but after the whole Epstein thing and how detailed it goes as far as people covering for each other and how much money and grooming and time and deliberation with the orchestration of these events or even the 1-on-1 between the abuser and the victim, it's just sickening.

I've thought about how MeToo has turned into a verb that some people have used, as in he got "MeToo'd", and it pisses me off. I acknowledge that some people use and abuse things like this to their advantage and that manipulation is very real and that should be accounted for, but each situation has to be looked at and investigated for what it is and that's a huge part of what the open discussion is about. It's hard to completely discredit something all one way or another. It's very disheartening.
