Why is it when a woman wears “male” clothes, it is socially acceptable, but when a guy wears “female” clothes, he’s a crossdresser?

If a guy wore the yoga pants women wear, I'm pretty sure he would be arrested within the hour.

I remember one time I wore gym shorts with no underwear thinking it'll help with the sunny weather. It was probably one of the most awkward days of college I've had, I felt so bare without briefs on. and they were loose on me so they atleast kept me somwhat modest, but man I was anxious all day at every girl I passed by, because honestly

I'm not trying to say its wrong or anything, but I cannot believe someone would wear something so skin tight that they look painted on, and not be a nervous and self-concious about how little those pants leave to the imagination.

If they like how it looks on them then rock on, wear what you want, but if I wore those in public, I would die from anxiety.
