When was your big "wow, everyone else is, actually the problem" moment?

When I decided to walk away from everyone's problems within my family. Seemed like I always had drama surrounding me and at one point a friend pointed it out to me and I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Fast forward and my family still has a lot of drama but it doesn't impact me and I don't talk about it to anyone or participate in it. I realised my mother loves drama and other people's problems and will be content to chat about it all the time and will literally drop everything to be involved, my brother and his partner join her. Whenever they bring something up, I don't ask questions, I just say "oh okay" a lot.

The sad part of this realization is now that I am "out of the loop", they don't really visit me anymore. I guess I must be boring now.
