When your judo training saves your life

This is my jacket after the fall.

I was going ~32.2 km/h from school to my dorm and a wheel got caught in a small pot hole that I didn’t see.

Board stopped for a second and I flew off.

First thing I learned was that I was pretty okay. Lots of road rash as I was dragged along the asphalt but, beyond that, no harm. Nothing broken no hit to the head and I was in the judo fall position that I was trained for years lol

So I guess learning how to fall really helps and surprised to see how still works irl lol

Also romp shock worked really well, it absorbed the shock really well. My board got stuck under a car so the grip tape got screeched :( but that was all that happened
