When your kid wants to start gaming

I mean, basically? They're both flashy, shallow, and successful cash grabs aimed at younger audiences. (I have nothing against the Biebs btw) And they both feel like a debasement of a hobby that people are passionate about, and have been, for decades.

So, yeah, Fortnite isn't going to sit well with the majority of people who are passionate enough about gaming to spend their time on the internet talking to strangers about it. But it's also raking in crazy money, which makes it frustrating for them. So, I don't know why people are surprised that it wouldn't be popular here. If I go on a car enthusiast subreddit and keep posting pictures of Ford Focuses, they're gonna be annoyed.
