Where Did Conor Go? - UFC 229 Analysis of Conor McGregor

My mate firmly believes McGregor lost because he's not using Ido Portal. Reckons the only reason McGregor lost is because his movement wasn't as good as at 145. Completely dismisses Khabib's skills. When faced with any counter-argument, he goes on about his "MMA training" (he's had a few rolling sessions with a couple of other novices in our small town). I just don't know what to say to him. How can you reason woth someone who legitimately believes the reason McGregor lost is because of not playing touch-butt with some dork in the park? He's also convinced McGregor has a rematch clause in the contract, despite being the challenger. So strange how some people react to their hero's getting their arses whooped.
