Where do we go from here? 2017 and onwards.

Well Beltran, Moreland, and Holland are gone for sure. The resurgence of GoGo I think solidified Ian's departure as well. I'm not sure how but we need to get a quality middle of the rotation pitcher. If it means giving up Gallo, profar, or a few key pieces of the pin then that's what has to be done.

Colby looked great at the beginning of the season so he still remains kind of a mystery so if he wanted to play one more season I wouldn't be opposed to seeing what he's got left in the tank. Won't exactly be an expensive arm to say the least. If Mitch goes it wouldn't be hard to find someone to replace he sub par batting average, but might have to give up some defense. Still won't exactly be a big let down.

As far as free agents go there isn't much as far as starting pitching. The best I can see would be Jeremy Hellickson, who I like but would also command a large price tag given the quality of pitchers there this off season. There's a lot of outfields like Trumbo, Cespedes, and Encarnacion that all would be great if you didn't have to pay them billions of dollars. And of course there's Bautista (haha). Maybe Josh Reddick? Idk we don't have to get one if we wanted to save money and go with Nomar.

We could always bring Napoli back but again would have to shell out a substantial amount of money, probably more than his .230 batting average deserves.

So yea pretty much it's going to be the same thing next year where starting pitching is still going to be the biggest question mark. I think JD will put is in a position to compete again though, even if it doesn't necessarily mean the best record in the AL.
