There are a couple more clues we're given - especially concerning Ellis:

• Isn't it strange that after their first night in the attic we immediately cut to French getting the scholarship from one: a creep-toned elder member over the phone. Alongside a subsequent warning of, 'just don't do anything weird.'

• BBA's conversation in 7 with Ellis, over the phone, glitches out after she refers to herself as BBA before she hangs up on him. (I think their relationship might elude to him turning heel).

• In 8 we THINK we see him run after BBA but as she turns the corner....he's nowhere to be found.

• There's also that earlier scene of him stopping French in the cafeteria, stopping to glance back [directly] at the camera with a consteranated look (as if from someone's POV), then ends on a shot of him turning his Knightsman ring with his arms situated in a kind of inverted chevron position from below.

^\*This last one could also point to ties to the shooter being the one following them but that's a totally different conversation, and I'm starting to go off the deep end so I'll just leave it at that, lol.**)
