Where to start as a begginer?

There are very few "good articles or videos" from skeptics. Most skeptics are flat out deniers who pretend they know something the climatologists don't.

True skeptics I've encountered here can teach you a thing or two about what actually comes close to still being debated, but the moment you start hearing someone deny CO2's role in the greenhouse effect, for instance, you're just talking to the person I described, a denier.

Here's where we are with climate science: Surface and atmospheric readings show a slowdown in the rate of warming, but very recently it has been discovered that scientists could have been reading oceanic surface temperatures incorrectly. We are all patiently waiting on formal rebuttals from climate scientists, but so far what seems wonky about this research is how they were reading the temperatures in the first place. In the very least, the research should trigger an effort to garner and even more accurate measurement.

This slowdown has been exaggerated by deniers as a flat out pause. Atmospheric data still shows increasing, however. RSS and UAH data both show lower troposphere temperatures rising, and other research have found hotspots within the troposphere. Furthermore, other research has found that satellite readings could be off by an order of up to 30%.

What respected climatologists are telling us is that 2015 is on track for being the hottest year on record, and we are possibly in for a major increase. What the respected skeptics are telling us is right now, it would appear based on the slowdown and inaccuracy of most climate models, it's too early to panic.

So there you have it. Take your pick. Either err on the side of caution, or throw caution to the wind. Things could be worse than we thought, or things could turn out to be not nearly as bad as even our most conservative efforts.
