I just unsubbed from a bunch, some for admittedly petty reasons:

Tati; I just couldn’t get behind new religious vibe and “poor me, my mansion isn’t ready yet.” But once James reappeared in videos, I was out. Is it possible he’s gotten even creepier?

Morgan Turner because when she reviews a new eyeshadow palette, she creates an “ugly” look (by her own admission) to use as many colors as possible. I can create an ugly look on my own just fine, thanks. But also, the constant barrage of affiliate links was too much.

Julia Adams, because as much as I appreciate her creative looks, I’m unlikely to ever recreate them, and I feel like she talks in a baby voice. Also, when I saw that she gets Botox at 25 (no judgment, to each their own), I realized nothing she likes base-wise will ever perform the same on me.

Michelle Wang, with all of the unboxings and PR that she raves about. I feel like her reaction to every product is the same: “Huh. Okaaay. I like that. Okay.”

Kathleen Lights because she keeps using a terrible British accent.

I’m close to unsubbing from Mandy Lea, since her lighting is so bright, and the filter she uses makes it nearly impossible to see how shades appear and products perform. It also irks me that she clearly doesn’t read her comments, yet always asks for feedback, etc. I get that she’s busy, but why ask specific questions and seek engagement if you aren’t going to read what people have taken the time to write to you?
