Which celebrities have you met and what was your impression of them?

I've met tons of Yankees players, Knicks players, Giants players, Mets players, a couple actors, several famous news people, models, ect. I'll share some of the memorable ones.

Derek Jeter - He's a cool dude (I've met him 3 times) but if you remember the gatorade commercial from last year, he went into a bar on River Avenue. The bartender said, "We've been waiting for you to come in here for 20 years." He responded,"well maybe you should have invited me." Jeter, outside of this area, got recognition for going in and seeing those guys, but he took 20 years to do it. He is like that with a lot of things compared to his teammates (Bernie was in the bars frequently apparently). Jeter's reaching out to the community is exaggerated but other than that, the rest of it is pretty much true.

Alex Rodriguez - One of the biggest douchebags I've ever met. I was like 9 years old, and I won a contest to go into the dugout at Yankee Stadium before a game. The PR guy that was taking care of me had me sit down by the end of the bench, and A-Rod plopped down next to me. There had to have been like two hours before the game. I wasn't the only kid that won the contest, so there were like two other boys in the dugout. One of them comes up to A-Rod to ask for an autograph (the yankee players were told before the game to accept all autograph requests, because its a good PR move). A-Rod takes the bottle of water he is drinking from, tells the kid to come closer, and he dumps the bottle of water on the kid's head, tells the kid to go fuck himself (8 year old) and then he spits on him. Douchebag.

Johnny Damon- Met him a couple times, seemed like a great guy and talked to me for extended periods of time. We both have a stutter so he was really nice to me, and considering he was my favorite player, it was so cool.

Mariano Rivera - asshole. The guy shoved a kid who asked him for an autograph down in Baltimore, he got into a road rage argument after he bumped into someone's car with his SUV (I was watching from my car), and just in general wasn't a cool dude the time I got to talk to him.

Jorge Posada - the fucking man. This guy stood up for me after I got thrown onto the field by a drunk dude. He picked me up and told the guy to go fuck himself and got security to take the guy away. 8 year old me was impressed. He also signed a baseball for me and got me upgraded for the rest of the game seat wise (front row).

Andy Pettitte - quiet. very religious, good man.

Lance Berkman - a little more talkative but very similar to Pettitte

Mark Teixeira - Good guy. Spends a lot of time with his family.

John Starks - Great guy. He clearly gets flustered though when people ask him about Reggie Miller as well as Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals. He asked one of the kids who asked that question how they knew about all that, and they said, "NBA Classics on NBA TV." Starks turned away and all I heard was,"Shit."

David Lee - Good guy, remembered my name when I met him the second and third time.

Al Harrington - Good guy, was involved with the Knicks Camps when he was with them.

Scottie Pippen - Not a Knick player, but met him at a Knicks game a couple years ago. Guy was a bit of a dick.

John Wallace - Relatively mediocre Knick. I met him at Knicks camp, and it looked like he clearly had been fighting a drug problem. He just really didn't look good for a not even 40 year old at the time.

Kate Upton - She looked mostly like I expected her to look like. Doesn't have much going on in her brain though.

Jimmy Buffett - Good guy.

Those are the memorable ones. I've met a bunch more but this list would go on a while.
