Well, like it or not, I admit that my first comment to you didn't exactly have a super friendly tone (to say the least), but I didn't insult you directly, merely expressed frustration that you and others kept perpetuating this idea that only Americans have Southern stereotypes of both Italians (Siciliano/Napolitano) and Germans (Bavarian).
That's just the fucking truth. And, at least from the American standpoint the stereotyping of Italians with their southernmost regions isn't meant to belittle or look down (I think your mixing up snob as a noun versus snub as a verb, different things, snob isn't a verb by itself) on Italians, it's simply where the migration flows to the US from Italy, primarily originated from. Modern day Americans have a mostly a very positive image of Italy on the whole both its North & South, and probably even more so the latter because of ancestral connection.
I agree that Dutch and other Northern Europeans may use this kind of stereotyping to subtly look down on Italians, but Americans no. It's just a lack of exposure to other parts of Italy. Though like Canadians you mentioned, Milan fashion and luxury cars and Ferrero are all well-known to Americans.
Anyway back to initial comments, I just angrily stated facts to which you replied with a bunch of presumptuous bullshit thinking you knew fuck about shit of my life story. So that's probably why they traced the chain of culpability in your direction. You started the personal attacks, sorry, it is what it is...
As for the corrections maybe some points I understand but in many instances the sentence structure would have had to been changed completely:

You can't use an imperative command sentence like that for "double standard". If you wanted to say specifically something about double standards it would have had to be something like:
...that's a double standard your holding and that's not right...
And to be honest in the context you used it, double standard and hypocrite are mostly synonymous.
As for au contraire that's historic -but fully incorporated into the lexicon of English - loan word from French, much like cliché (which unlike hypocrite/double standard above) are not synonymous in English, at least not in the context you used them - they are (again in English) similar concepts, but not the same thing. I know my own language, thank you very much!
Regarding other corrections, the best, is fine enough, to be fair, but still I tweaked for improvement. The "worse" is incorrect (significa peggio non il peggiore) it has to be "the worst".
For the troia and polentona comments, again I didn't say them to you in a direct manner - ma condizionale "se direi..." regardless for the former, I admit that I was wrong and out of line, and sincerely apologize to you. For the latter, I have more difficulty feeling any remorse because you only (rather disgustingly) doubled down on your anti-southern sentiments in this most recent comment. And if you spewed this kind of rhetoric to any Italian mod of AE (from Rome or southward) then I'm not at all surprised they brought the ban hammer down on you - rather rightfully so...
Regarding how I've been treated in Veneto I just said that they treated me like family, which still can be "peers" they were just lovely and warm people to me and took me in and integrated me. No superiority or envisioned ass-kissing here, FFS.
Anyway thanks for the Italian language corrections, good to know and I'll do my best to learn from them (still not completely sure about the avere vs essere point you raised, but I'm not the one in a position to argue with a native speaker - take note of that last part).
