You're right, got a bit carried away there. As far as monero is concerned it will be easy for PIVX to steal market share (not cap) from them because they already have more market share than Monero. If you check coin fair value you can clearly see that the economy of PIVX is much larger than Monero's.

Most of Monero's marketcap is hype/fake which is proven by the fact that its fairvalue has never risen above the low 20$s while its price went stratospheric and stayed there for over a year and a half. This indicates that as long as PIVX continues to focus on adoption and SHUN the evil tactics of the monero community, suppression, surreptitious moderating/shilling, etc. it will continue to grow above Monero and soon even the market cap's will reflect this.

Dash on the other hand, is another story. This won't be so much bad news though since PIVX is a fork of Dash. But Dash is poised to rise very high shortly. Dash has had better technology and a better community than most other coins for years and the results of this are starting to show. Things like Dash having 4000+ stores accepting it directly (no payment processor) while BTC, o.g. BTC, is celebrating 140 stores in Spain. Or things like BCH wondering about privacy when Dash has mixed tens of millions of dollars in tens of thousands of private txs since 2014.

All of that means PIVX has a very big mountain to climb if they hope to beat Dash. One way would be do things like you're doing with ZDEX but be inclusive of Dash so that as Dash grows PIVX grows alongside it. By maintaining an alliance with Dash, BCH and other likeminded currencies PIVX will be able to organically grow in market share both among the crypto enthusiasts and the noobies who they will gain more exposure to through their higher position in the ecosystem. However, they could also try the monero tact. Slam, FUD and lie about Dash and try to tear them down to their level. It could work. But it would be very harsh.
