Which cultural norms have been around for FAR too long?

As to your first point, possibly. I don’t like feeling this way about things, I can’t tie it down to any specific event or lessons, all of my family and friends were very open about intimacy and other ideals. I think more over, its the reason they happen is what bugs me the most. I don’t care as much that my girlfriend slept with her ex’s, its the revenge sex, the using people to get off, only talking to people so you can fuck them. Its just disrespectful to people to use them like that, and she did that a lot. But you are right it is the past and shes more than committed to me now. I think what I meant to say with my popularity comment is that demonstrably, I have seen evidence to support that poly relationships and sleeping around are detrimental to relationships. Ive see a lot end over sexual things, all silly. Close friends cheating with girls they know have boyfriends, because what? They can’t just jerk themselves off? Ive seen it ruin long relationships as people just wanted a new experience and decided that cheating was the only way around it. Poly people I do have very bad relationships. I think my popularity was more on par with the flat earthers (also the wiping butt thing was on my mind from another reddit thread i read earlier), what if sleeping around and poly relationships ARE bad. What if the effects I’ve seen of people removing intimacy from sex are going to happen tons more and all over the world. It may not happen, and then it’ll be the new norm in time, but as with cell phones and online dating sites like tinder, It’s not hard to find the horrible attitudes people have towards dating.
