The base player like you said is what he is made of. The only one that I would say is still better would be the shape and possibly the trapper.

Nurse if the person is very good and well practiced with it.

The doctor is basically the only one that can affect people when they are hiding behind pallets or pallet looping (and possibly the nurse).

He is the only one that will completely kill the stealth of survivors. Thats what makes him so strong in my opinion. As survivors are at gens and repairing them and start to hear that heartbeat, they usually just crouch in tall grass or behind something and no killer is going to take the time to look through everything.

The doctor completely kills this mechanic as his radius will make survivors scream and you can easily find survivors that are trying to stay stealthy.

Idk how many people actually notice how easy it is to hide from a killer in grass but its pretty fucking easy and from the opposite perspective as a killer, I know for a fact I have passed over or near people that blended right into the grass
