Which “miracle cure” scams did you fall for? As a twelve year CFS veteran, I understand how confusing and overwhelming this condition is and just how desperate we can be for real help. Unfortunately, that leaves many of us vulnerable to scams. I feel like tried almost all of them.

Can I ask about your experience with trying to increase ferritin? Did that help you at all? I can't find a lot of accounts from people who have me/cfs and increased their ferritin.

I was at 22 when I tested, and through safe, monitored supplementation I'm now in the 50s. I think it's mildly helped me, mostly a slight increase in energy and slightly deeper sleep. Also I used to have problems with my arms falling asleep if they were above my heart, and now that's about 50% improved. I'm trying to get to 75-100 because that might help more.

Nothing earth shattering and it was really annoying to figure out how to actually get the iron to absorb and then monitor it enough so that I wasn't accidentally poisoning myself. But I do find it worth it.
