Which is more difficult Nioh or Dark Souls Remastered?

Nioh has a lot more customization and movesets with the 3 different stances you can take and Dark Souls follows a certain formula the whole way through.

One focuses on refining your specific playstyle (Nioh) and the other focuses more on learning how the hammer falls and responding to it properly (DS).

Nioh might be a bit harder because of that but Dark Souls/Bloodborne was FAR more enjoyable, in my opinion. I would continue with the Soulsborne series when you finished/if you get tired move on to Nioh and the other games that came out modeled after DS.

Nioh didn't capture the charm that Dark Souls has with its atmosphere and unique enemy environment. Nioh felt more to me like a really good, classic almost arcade-y game with more focus on raw gameplay than atmosphere or immersion where Dark Souls completely sucked you in with its gameplay and atmosphere
