Which movie has the most WTF ending ?

SPOILERS;

Just watched it for the first time yesterday. This really is just my opinion but it was a little disappointing to me, my experience was an entertaining movie and not a particularly thought provoking one. Not trying to sound elitist but the twist seemed really obvious to me, to the point where I would see/hear what were meant to be subtle hints and they would feel like Nolan hitting me over the head with, "DO YOU GET IT?!"

I think because I had been told it was "one of those movies you need to see twice" and/or I just had a lucky guess I knew Fallen was a double from I'd say less than an hour into the movie. Caine's "He definitely uses a double" stuck with me because he seemed like the character who really knew his shit, and I think just after Bale desperately trying to free Fallon from being buried is when I realised for sure (though later on I though Fallon was a clone, the twin thing didn't enter my mind I just suspected there were two Bordens).

Still a great movie don't get me wrong and I still found it cool how you could look back and remember the minor things e.g. the Asian magician, the "I love you... today it's true" etc when the twist is formally revealed, but it was a little off for me when Jackman was putting all the pieces together and spelling it all out for the audience when you're thinking, "Yeah...OK... I've known since 40 minutes into the movie m8."

The Wild Cloning Machine Appears was a little silly, I get that it probably has a deeper message maybe linking to the "You want to be fooled" spiel but to me it was just random. So in this world of illusion (ala not magic) Bale sends Jackman to Tesla on a wild goose chase but David Bowie just so happens to accidentally have a cloning machine up his sleeve? How very convenient.

This is more of sidenote but the one thing I didn't get was Bale reading Jackman's diary, I probably just wasn't paying enough attention during that part but (genuinely asking) what was the relevance of it? Was he just rubbing his "win" in his face?
