Which mystery industry is the largest buyer of glitter?

Hi, the Mylar that the glitter is made of is just a name for a certain kind of PET, which is a thermoplastic with excellent material properties to serve as an aggregate and which is also used in the production so called light concrete. Aggregate shape as described in the post can be an important factor for the properties of the resulting concrete mixtures. Also it can be very hard and costly to introduce solid pigments into certain viscous materials such as concrete, due to the generally decreased wetting in highly viscous materials and the shear required to distribute them evenly. My guess is that pigments like titanium oxide can be distributed very evenly and with less cost if present in the aggregate of the light concrete.
