Why do you believe I'm making an argument?
Because I never made the statement that legalization increased trafficking. In fact, I'm well aware that it did. You offered a link, and I could contextually assume that was somehow intended to be a counter-argument to my statement. I explain how prohibition isn't an answer in other areas, and shouldn't be considered one here. It's not a "nonsensical" analogy when framed in the context of prohibition often ultimately creating more problems than it solves, especially when the surrounding activities have a significant amount of non-trafficked supply (sex, diamonds) which makes enforcement of the underlying more difficult when criminalized.
