While Canadians sit in idle, New Zealanders are filling the streets to protest TPP signing today.

I think you are ignorant to your own comments trying to downplace the legitimacy of these protestors. You try to undermine their legitimacy by branding them as just "regular protestors" and by that same token, you are implying they should be ignored.

Your comments imply that protesting is just "something that happens". It seems like think these people do not have a good reason for protesting and you seem to think that protesters should just be ignored. Since protesting just "happens", do you think that the people protesting at the G20 in Toronto.jpg) have no cause for protesting? I mean surely you do realize that many people at the G20 were protesting human rights abuses, abuse of the third world labour market, and better treatment of the environment.

With regards to the TPP, you do understand that many people are fearful because the entire thing was kept in a cloud of secrecy for years and then shotgunned into a signature with threats of being "left behind". Likewise there are serious problems with copyright and internet privacy revolving around the agreement. More so, we are discovering that people have been coerced into the agreement, for example the US threatening to cut Canada out altogether because of our not wanting to compromise on our dairy supply management.

But of course, according to you, these protests can just be ignored because NZ is where the TPP is being signed and therefore people just protest for no reason at all.
