Dave & Co. are appallingly irresponsible on the issue of COVID-19 and mask-wearing. I am a huge fan of their debt-reduction program, it has changed my life.... but their cavalier attitude on the pandemic is so disappointing, considering the platform and influence they have.
Do I have on-air examples where they explicitly discouraged mask-wearing? No. But he has repeatedly called news coverage of the pandemic "fear porn," as if we all just need to get on with our lives. And the DR website discourages people from buying masks, WTF?!!.
In case anyone is wondering or is on the fence about this, there is no legitimate debate on whether to wear masks.
