I'm actually done with this app. I've had better results DMing interesting women on Instagram. The past 9 matches I've had on Hinge have all ended after the third message (my response to their match response). I honestly do not get the logic. It didn't used to be like this. Before my 1 month break, I would have multi-day conversations. I actually Googled my name because I thought maybe something bad was coming up when people looked me up.

I've tried genuine interest, banter, jokes, flirting. Not a single time have I ever said anything creepy. I show my conversations to friends, my sister, etc. and they're just as confused as me.

I got left on read after a girl told me her dog was named Wilson "like the tennis ball" and I responded "that's really cool actually because my dog is named Titlist Pro V1". Ended right there. I was just trying to be funny :( And this is how they all go.
