This, ladies and gentleman, is an example of what a person with no corroborable sources and no substantial argument to make will resort to. The strategy behind is two fold, first to annoy and overwhelm with nonsense - in the same vein as a "gish gallop" - which is oftentimes enough to secure the final word, and second, to avoid having to admit they have no counter argument to make with a variety of deflections techniques.

Ultimately a bad faith actor engaging in these tactics is hoping you will be too overwhelmed to repeat your own argument, and will attempt to shame you for repeating yourself if you do.

The fact of the matter is that any argument that's gone unacknowledged or has been otherwise deflected is a perfectly valid argument to repeat.

The further you press their defenses, the less you let up, the more you insist your argument is acknowledged, the more ad hominem attacks and accusations of trolling will be leveled at you - these ad hominem attacks are generally projection.
