I know it's likely not possible but Nylander would solve a lot of problems for us. Personally, I would be willing to add a little to either Dumba or Spurgeon to get Nylander. Some of the projections I've seen put Dumba and Nylander's cap hits right around the same neighborhood of the $5-5.5 million range and Spurgeon is at $5.185 million so neither should affect your ability to get Matthews and Marner deals done.

If he's 100% untouchable, I'm not exactly sure how a trade would work. The only way to get the cap to match up would seem to be either be by adding quantity on your end (which we can't take on) or us retaining money. The problem is, outside of Nylander, I don't know if you have anybody you're willing to trade that would be worth it for us to give up Spurgeon or Dumba with money retained.
