Why do white working class people turn to the far right?

And now, how do we counter-act that? I had to dig deep to just know what socialism was about. That it's a catalysator to fulfill all the otherwise empty promises that all those politicians give to you. That the world would be a (more) wonderful place with it and already is in places like Chiapas.

Honest pay for hard work? Naturally. Peace? Oh, come on. Immediately. A future for your children? A future for your grand-grand-children! Environmental issues? Bad food ingredients? Well, no prob, we'll handle that. Corruption? Power-abuse? Socialism doesn't know those words. Safety in your own home? Watch others trying to risk their standing in society when they could be better off with honest work anyways. Jail? Just pick out the absolute mad, we'll handle them. All the others won't need jail and we'll safe them from turning mad. And the best? Fuck alienation and searching for your sense in life! Because all of those things get decided on by YOU, personally. You're the damn boss in this whole thing. But you don't have the weight on your shoulders for any decision there is. And it still goes deeper than that.

Where on earth does anybody tell you that kinda stuff? Nowhere! Sorry, I was ranting. Now, where does anybody tell you that? You have to read through a shit load of stuff and then come to the logical conclusions for yourself. Meanwhile capitalists market capitalism with shit it isn't even responsible for like "innovation" and try to grab any positive adjective for their ideology. Sure, they're supported by the establishment, but I see no counter-effort that's trying to hit those points, besides a wonderful crimethinc.-video. It's as easy as designing a leaflet, but it has to start.

We don't need the liberal college students and we don't need to change them. We need to reclaim the struggle and inspire working class people. Folks that tip "What is socialism" into the Youtube search bar. There, it is! An honest effort to educate yourself without any resources or pre-knowledge. Use it! Create a HQ-video that plainly explains stuff historically, economically and ideologically. Use a positive frame. Boom, the fellow is now able to understand socialism. Maybe he blocks it out, maybe it will affect him. Don't put out pamphlets discussing the specifics when people out there don't even get the full picture first. Put a frame out there, make people agree on it, and build the specifics from there. Don't use the hammer&sickle in PR. Use things that you know reach people like the hammer&sickle did back in the days. You know what the slogan Peace, Land, Bread was? It was fucking great advertising. The people needed peace, land, bread, the bolsheviks seemed honest, boom. And wouldn't they have been, you know, destroyers of free soviets, they would have succeeded with what they promised.

Dip inside your local issues, "national" issues. Promise whatever the fuck you want, because, when the workers, motivated by those promises, take the show over, they can get ridiculous with what they achieve. Put your frame out there, when workers show up, show them how to organize and watch the magic unfold like money creates itself.

Advertise yourselves, socialists.
