Who actually enjoys home office and would rather never go back to their office life?

Everyone.

Weirdos and wealthy property owners do not like it because they like controlling "their people", but everyone else has proven they're more productive, more efficient, and happier when they work in comfort and aren't boxed in corporate prisons.

That said, there is a lot of wealthy people's wealth at stake right now. They own or are invested in a lot of corporate facilities, so there will be a lot of propaganda and noise about culture this and that in order to get people herded back into those structures. Interestingly, the same ones harping so loudly about it also fully support offshoring and moving jobs to the cheapest countries. They'll conceded that not only are those foreign contract, temporary workers productive and cheap, but they are necessary, while in the same breathe "we need face time". They want both. They want to sit lofty and look down on their people in their office buildings, and they want to exploit the benefits of having remote staff, but only in lower cost of living countries. It makes them feels powerful, and extremely profitable. Bottom line, weirdos and wealthy are the only ones who don't want WFH for their workers.
