Who approved that building they're putting across from the Westside Market?

I mean, I kind of see your point, but I think there's something of a big difference between the two.

For one thing, Terminal Tower represented an organic growth of the city of Cleveland. It served as train-station and much more, I think. Whereas this Intro Cleveland building seems less like an organic growth and more like the continuation of a forced image upon the neighborhood of Ohio City. Even right down to the timber facade, what does that immediately remind you of??? Townhall (which everyone on here hates I know). Let's not forget what the giant hole they sunk into that place (literally) represents: a lot of money thrown into shaping the neighborhood to meet the needs of these future residents. In other words, this is the secular castle which will shape the Ohio City saeculum for the foreseeable future.

Secondly, Terminal Tower is spaced more appropriately from Old Stone Church. It leaves the lebensraum between the two, which is Public Square. If that space weren't there, can you imagine? There'd be no Public Square. There would be no crossroads, no forum, it'd just be a jam-packed mess. That's the vibe I get already with this construction going on. It feels crammed. I can only imagine how the sky-line will look when that thing is towering over the West Side Market clock tower. It feels over-bearing. And it should feel that way, because this thing will either make or break the neighborhood. If investors can't profit off of it, what will they do? Totally destroy the neighborhood in a continued enterprise in order to make their money back. If its successful, what will they do? Totally destroy the neighborhood in a continued enterprise in order to make more money.
