And that is a fair point. I haven't looked in to next year's QB prospects in any detail so I'll take your word for it.

It's a hard pill to swallow ( I am lifelong Broncos fan) but I don't think this is a Super Bowl team for at least a couple of years. We need to think and set our expectations on the long term vs this season.

So looking to 2023-2024 isn't out of the question. Stockpile some draft capital, build a solid team around the QB, and bet on a Manning working out again. It would also be a good time for new ownership to make a splashy move but also showing a connection to the history of the team

But the Broncos seem to be stuck permanently in win now mode so who knows what they will do
