Ripper is currently the best hunter in the game because he's very easy to use. Some are making arguable claims that say Dream Witch is the best but she requires A LOT of multi-tasking as well as strong game sense. It takes quite a while to master her. I personally think the easiest hunters to use are the strongest. Soul Weaver was the best due to her insane buff from early 2019 but everyone demanded nerfs for her smh. Speed is very important for a hunter so I would say she's better than Dream Witch (don't @ me because I know she can uncontrol the follower and it'd move faster. I am very aware of that). Ripper's foggy blade and his invisibility + speed are just ridiculously good. However, this is just my personal opinion unless you want to use a hunter that requires a lot of skill, Dream Witch would be your answer.
