If what I've heard elsewhere, and the area in question is right, there's a very high chance this man was and probably still is, being targeted for a takeover by dealers in the general area, and why he's boarded it up and not answering his door, or afraid even to leave to get his post.

It's particularly as in that area as they've (those dealers known for it) where mostly driven out of another area close enough to it, where I live.

If anything, the DCC local office can be contacted and asked for a safety intervention as there are fears his house is a target for takeover from dealers.

If that's the case, they'll know what to do and move him, and probably move him near where I live, where others who have gone through the same have been moved too. I'll look in on him then myself like I do with others and walk his dog plus he'll be protected here 100% by the community around here from any of that shit happening again.
