Yes, addressing Elliot as Ellen is disrespectful. But does this include his immortalised image of the past and his previous state?

The point I am trying to make is that many trans people destroy pictures of them from before, to avoid raising any issue of associating themselves with their previous gender identity, when, e.g. Elliot identified as the lesbian woman Ellen.

But in this case, this is simply not possible, because the movies won't disappear. So, what happens there? What is the proper nomenclature?

To make the question more clear, I guess there are 3 options: (a) Elliot the man as Ellen the woman who plays Ariadne the woman, (b) Elliot the man who plays Ariadne the woman, (c) Elliot the man who plays Ariadne the man. Is it one of the three or is it even a fourth one I could not think of?
