Howdy neighbor! I'm a finishing contractor plaster, paint, wall covering etc. one man show really, I have two trusted freelancers I can hire for larger installs/jobs. Last month a high end firm in Ridgewood got into a scheduling jam down in Edgewater and pinged me for emergency help.

Here's the comedy. It's about 25 miles away right? The job is in one of those Upper East Side wanna-be high rises so filthy contractors allowed only between 9am-5pm. So how does one get there to even look at the job say during a lunch hour? We don't lol. I had to turn down the gig sight unseen. Meanwhile I have a rogue account in Hyde Park that's more or less half the drive time by the clock.
